    Its going to be very interesting

    how many #1 pitchers come back on Tuesday for round 2. Many teams played on Thursday which will give those guys four days rest for Tuesdays match ups. This could change things bigtime.

    Before the new format

    the first round was played on Tuesday with the second round on that Friday. This allowed for only two days off before the second round. Some teams would play on Monday to get that extra day off so #1 could close on Friday. Now teams are playing on Thursday and have four days before the second round match up. Sooner or later #2 his going to have to beat a good team. Thats when we will see the cream start to rise to the top. We will see.

    Gotta feel for North Gaston and Charlotte Catholic.

    Rain this weekend caused them to move their 1st round game to Monday.

    They'd have to win Monday, Tuesday, Friday in order to advance which will be tough on their pitching.

    so what happens if olympic's field is unplayable tomorrow?
    if a game gets rain-delayed to or past the date for the next round?
