Im from Greenville but haven't been able to see the rampants play this season. From what i have heard they have a lot of power, but can they finish like last years team?

I have no idea! There are a lot of excellent teams in 4A and a lot of super players. It depends on which team gets hot at the right time (which is now), who gets the best pitching and which team has the best luck. All those things factor into having a good run like Rose did last year.

    Rose is very talented...

They have some really good players and are very deep. Like any team however, they cannot afford to come out flat and be upset. To make it to the finals, you need good players, good play, intensity and of course, a little luck along the way. The planets need to be in perfect alignment.

Let's just say that RV has an excellent team but alot of thigs must come together to repeat!!

Good luck to a really good program!!

Coach, I really enjoyed watching your team Friday. You could easily tell that you had a good group of kids that played hard, played with passion and also that they enjoyed playing the game. Y'all gave us all we could handle and then some. It was obvious that they were well coached and well prepared. Good luck in the future.

Are "thigs" related to figs? If I eat a lot of figs, I definitely "repeat"!

17 & 18 year olds aren't as smart as when I was 17 & 18 :icon_bs: but I think they are still smart enough to know you can't look past anyone in the playoffs, especially a 19-5 team. Heck I wouldn't care if Pinecrest was 5-19, you can never look past a Pinecrest team.

yeah i dont think you have to worry about the rampants looking past any teams. RV always has his teams ready to play when the playoffs begin. I know that they have to pitching to go all the way but can they put up the numbers on the scoreboard when the pressure is on the line...
