Kind of interesting... the State of Texas has 3 regionals but NC is right behind them, and right with Cal. and Fla. with two sites. That's a pretty positive statement about the programs, players and fans here in North Carolina!

It's gonna be interesting... NCAA loves sites that generate $$$... this area is very much into baseball, sell outs even for non-EC games will be in play. It will be interesting to see how many tix are left Wed when tix go on sale for the public (only Pirate Club and Season Tix holders can buy starting today). Definately gonna be a busy week of baseball here in Greenville! The town is all a-buzz right now!

This is just the tip of the iceburg for the future of ECU baseball. I believe that ECU may emerge to be the top in the state in years to come. Nobody supports their baseball program better in NC

Looks like Miami's collapse against BC cost them a regional.

    Did BC get in?

All 64 teams aren't announced until tomorrow - only the 16 regional sites have been announced as of now. I expect BC to get in.

Edited to add: karlrocket beat me to it.

It's possible that ECU will host their regional but still not be a #1 seed...

"Virginia will not be hosting a regional, but this team looks entirely capable of breaking through and winning a regional on the road. The Cavaliers are strong in all phases of the game, and their bullpen has really solidified down the stretch, addressing a significant concern earlier in the year. Don’t be shocked if UVa. earns a No. 1 seed in Louisville or Greenville after winning the ACC tournament."

As of yesterday, they were even speculating that Elon could be the One Seed in the ECU Regional. One would have to speculate UVA gets a 1 seed, either in Louisville or Greenville after handling the ACC Tourney. Specualtion aside, it will all become clear tomorrow during lunch!
