    Down 5-0, Eastern Wayne rallies to beat Northern Nash 6-5!

    Western 2A Finals PATTON over MT. PLEASANT 12-5

    Patton wins first game in best of three series for the 2A Western Title with 12-5 win in Morganton. Chris Fine hit a solo and grand slam home run in Panthers 10 run third inning. CVAC POY Aaron Attaway hit solo shot in the first and Trevor Tallent added 2 run blast in third inning. Mt. Pleasant led 4-1 before Patton's explosion in bottom of third. Ryan Grady winner for the Panthers. Game two will be in Cabarrus County Friday night at 7 PM. Patton goes to 26-6 on the season.

    Rose and Sanderson game

    Hey,

    Can anyone give us some good details on the Rose victory over Sanderson. Sounds like it was a good one. Can't wait for round 2, I'm sure Sanderson would like some revenge.:N1ImwaitingHL:

    Sanderson 8 JH Rose 3

    Max Gagnon pitched 6 innings giving up only 2 hits and 0 runs.
    JH Rose scored their 3 runs in the top of the 7th after Max was replaced in the bottom of the 6th. Another great game for the bats of Sanderson.
    Should be a great game tomorrow at Guy (out of the park) Smith stadium.
    The new Yankee Stadium must have taken hints from this field on how to let balls LIFT out of the park.
