Not slighting the other two teams in the Final Four but the Friday matchup between Alexander Central and North Davidson is the headliner. Most of the so called "experts" think that these are the two best teams in the 4A Finals. Discuss......

    Almost Certainly True

The talent level in the far east is definitely down. Can't comment on Raleigh area. Even at it's peak five years the West teams were better. I see nothing happening down this way to change that.

Don't sell Fuquay short. Alex Ryan can go and they just seem to win.

Did i hear right that AC did not want to play ND in a tournament in SC. What was the reason for that?

Both lost to a good SWR team, should be a great game.

Gamesaver it would take us 2 weeks to explain that one. You could have been there as many of us were and still not understand this one. I have seen both of these teams play several times this year and the winner of game one will be the favorite to win it all. I think Norths speed will be the difference.

AC had already played 4 games that week. They couldn't play another one. They wanted to play the JV's but ND didn't agree

Now i have not seen ND play this year...but i have seen AC play quite a bit and i feel like their defense could be the difference in this game...ND has a great softball team, i do know that, but the defense was the game in Ardrey Kell's game between Crest and AC...

    Setting the record straight again.

Looking back to the SC tournament- Our Varsity had already played 1 game earlier that week, so we could only play three in SC. We were to play the Finals against North Davidson with our JVs. No Problem because Mike and I had already talked about the situation. The situation changed when two of our JV players were injuried and at the hospital. So due to the weekly limits, we only had 7 JV players. Thats the situation on that topic.

The North Davidson /AC is a great matchup. Power vs power. Its true that North has some blazing speed and are masters of the short game. Coach Lambros is a great coach with an excellent Staff to match. Our club does several things well too. We have had some major battles in the past starting all the way back in 1994. I consider Mike a very close friend. While my daughter was stricken with cancer several years ago, we became even closer. Bailey would finish a treatment and we would head down to see Mike at North in his PE class.
Both programs are built along the same foundation of love for the game. We have somewhat different styles of coaching, but the love of country, god, community and either Knights/Cougars is the backbone of the programs. No one respect Mike Lambros more than Monte Sherrill. No team respects the Black Knights more than AC. But just like brothers or sisters, when the game starts, the battle (figure of speech) is on until the last out is made. Lets make this a positive experience for both squads. Best of Luck

    I have One Question ??

When did softball become a war ?? It's suppose to be a game, a bunch of kids having fun and learning to be good citizens by working together through teamwork ! That's what's wrong with our youth there is no more fun in life adults put so much pressure on them to perform, everthing is war and no more enjoyment !!:apeani: SB2
