    Coming Back in 2010

    Ledford High School moves to 3A in 2010 and only loses 3 starters. Everybody else is back including all-state pitcher Murphy. They have returning starters at pitcher, 2nd, 3rd, RF, LF, CF. Losing all-state SS and Catcher but they have some very good backups or JV girls stepping in to try and fill those shoes.

    Alexandre Central should be good next year. They got a good jv team and some girls comeing up that is going to be good as well.:SmokinBanana:

    Mt Airy should have 7 senior starters next year... how that will translate is anyone's guess!

    Northwood will return 2 starting pitchers, Webster '10 and Martin '11. who switch off at 1st. SS Oldom '10, 3rd Surles '10, Catcher Glossen '10 and OF,IF,C Harrington '11. Should have a few rising sophs and jr.s, and possibly a freshman, to step up and fill in the holes.

    Mount Pleasant

    Mount Pleasant will return all but one starter (other senior was a part time starter) for next season. Hard to replace Allison Starnes at SS! She will be missed.

    Moving to the new Cabarrus County Conference and 3A next season.

    hunter huss will lose only one senior this year and will have six seniors next year, all starters and most playing travel ball this summer.

    East Rowan

    East Rowan lost 4 starters,but should have some good players coming in to take over.We will see next spring!

    Who is this North Iredell team you speak of??.:lipsrsealed::sifone:...... I'm going with St Stephens and say East Rowan, those 2 will be loaded in 3A.
