    Rules don't always apply

    In looking at the Region 6 roster I noticed 3 players that were selected that didn't even participate in the manditory 2 tryouts.

    Nope...what surpises me is that they evening consider having rules, if they didn't have any they wouldn't have to follow them.

    They removed the rosters from the website, probably thought it best to keep it a secret

    They don't follow them, so what's the diff?

    I agree with your "no rules" rule. THAT would make more sense.

    And??

    There were several teams in the region that had games on one or two of the tryout dates due to all the rain we had this spring. Thus, there had to be exceptions made. Couldn't penalize a kid because his team had to make up a game.

    Games on a Sunday?

    In Region 5 they scheduled 3 tryout dates (all Sundays so not to conflict with school games). The last was rained out. They rescheduled. The rainout date was rained out. The coaches did the best they could. They did schedule one over spring break which I would not do but it appeared to me the guys did the best they could.

    Nothing is perfect.
