    God bless Will and his family in this time of need. Whenever I see the number 6 on a jersey I will think of him and his courageous attitude.

    Will no longer feels any pain. He is in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My prayers go out to his family and friends, along with Pete also. I am deeply saddened with his loss but our loss is Heaven's gain!!

    So sorry to hear about Will, he was a great inspiration to all who played against him on and off the field. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Watauga family on your loss of a great young man. The Tedder family

    I met Will this spring and the meeting lasted just a few words, but I will never forget it.

    May God bless the Dicus family. What a testament to this young man that so many people have been touched by his story. He is gone physically but his spirit and legacy will last forever.

    Will was on the players minds this weekend in the state championships, Patton High players and coaches honored Will by putting his name and number on their hats. Will has touched many lives down here in Burke county,and will be missed dearly. Thoughts and many prayers to his parents and team from: Patton High Baseball
