    Just wanted to recognize the Blast members for an outstanding job in school ball this year.

    Shannon Arthur - All Conference - Sophmore, Concord
    Arin Hall - All Conference - Freshman, Lake Norman
    Georgia Parker - All Conference - Freshman, Mt. Pleasant
    Ally Yeager - All Conference - Freshman, Hickory Ridge

    Taylor Carpenter - Honorable Mention - Freshman, Mt. Pleasant, led the team from the circle to the best season in school history 26-3!!!!
    Tori Cragan - Rookie of the year - Freshman, Central Cabarrus, Led Varsity in slugging %

    Congratulations to all the other Blast members also, you all had a great season in school ball. I'm really looking forward to this summer!!

    congrats to all of the young ladies on receiving this award. How does Hickory Ridge who finished 1st have 2 players with other teams that finished behind them receiving 3 players each? Its not in line with all of the other conferences or how it was done last year. In any sport the higher ranked teams receive more spots in the all-star game, pro-bowl and so on. This doesn't seem right for the hickory ridge players that received this award last year to be told hey you did your job again but there is no reward for the work you put in. If any one out there knows how or why the SPC made this change please let me know. There are 2 or 3 young ladies from the Hickory Ridge team that have been done wrong.

    Congrats to the Lake Norman ladies for all their hard work this year! A special shout out to Stacey Houser (Stone Cold!), you are an awesome player, and a plesaure to watch in action on the field! I wish you all continued success thru the summer and next year!

    The NW4A isn't suppose to be released until after the teams are out of the playoffs. With Alexander playing in the finals they will be released after they are concluded. Teams can announce at their local banquets, but not to the media.
