Maybe we need a "we're looking for a few good women" recruiting theme at the freshmen level.

We need a few more like your DD! Tell her I said hey and have fun in Florida!

Pisgah returns all but 4. Taylor Willis the Pitcher returns and the JV's only lost 2 games and the Canton Middle School lost 1. The future is bright.

lot of truth to this, we started off with seven freshman that should of been seniors this year and all but one dropped out of the softball circuit. some for cheerleading, others just lost interest. in our school, if you cheer, you cant do any other "sport" even though cheerleading is not considered a sport....go figure.

We lose 2 seniors, twins, Kasey & Kayla Kerley. Kasey intends to play at the next level and has a few options, not sure where she is going yet. Kayla will also head to college to study. Kasey is our all-conference center fielder and lead-off. Congrats girls!

thats really weird man. the only thing with cheer that overlaps softball is tryouts. and no slight on your girls, but they dont even go to state so anyone taking a cheerleading squad that doesnt compete that seriously doesnt make sense.

as for the topic -- NG loses only 2 players. both 4 year players and both started at least 90% of our games this year.

conference we pick up the previously mentioned KM team and all teams will be 3A. (and east gaston goes to the queen city conference as part of that split 3a/4A)

I think you just may be onto something there. JV's are the future.
