    Just go hire BDR from East Rutherford . You can win in baseball anywhere,ie Rice, Cal State Fullerton, Longbeach. What was Carolina b4 Fox? BDR would own recruiting in Western NC and he knows how to develop players.

    Brian Roberts transferred to Lower Carolina, but yes, Carolina has and always will be Carolina!!

    Hire Coach Little from Montreat he has shown year in and year out what it takes to win in Western Carolina. 30 plus wins every year.

    Until the administration supports the baseball program, very few coaches are going to want the job.

    They had the perfect candidate in Mike Shildt, but they went a different direction. If they made the decision to hire Shildt, they wouldn't be looking to fill this position again.

    The guy is one of the most respected baseball people in this state. He coached college, HS, founded and developed the On Deck program, ML scout and now is the manager of the Cardinals farm team. The UNCA graduate and former player was the perfect fit. Those type coaches are hard to find
