    Looks like we (Kernersville) picked a great week to take off with the monsoons and Seattle, NC in full effect. We're back in action Friday at Eastern Randolph to start our lovely 10 games in 9 day adventure.

    Eagles, We are in the same boat, no pun intended, We start our swing of games tomorrow night at Eastern Randolph, 13 games in 12 days, with 2 double headers in there.

    LP: Clay Watson


    Rowan jumps on LD starter Clay Watson for six runs and never lets up after that in a battle for first place. Rowan improved to 6-2 in the Area III South. Zach Smith and Corbin Shive homered for Post 342. LD committed at least five errors. Rowan is home Friday against Mooresville.

    Rowan was missing CF Jon Crucitti and SS Preston Troutman due to the state games.

    Lexington was missing players due to beach trips.

    Winston Salem @ Thomasville-Davidson

    TD 1

    All Winston Salem in this one. Post 55 bangs out 10 hits. Michael Axe goes 4 for 4, scores twice and knocks in 3, also hits a solo HR in the 1st his 3rd of the season. Zach Powell pitches a complete game giving up only 2 hits for the victory.

    Game # 2

    WS 6
    TD 7

    A six run 2nd for Thomasville-Davidson and a run in the 7th that scores on a wild pitch lead to a 7-6 victory for TD..Post #55 fights back tariling 7-4 in the home half of the 7th but leave runners on 1st and 3rd to end the game. Winston Salem only manages 3 hits in this contest, 1 apiece by Powell, Axe and Holderfield.

    Tonight Winston Salem will be at Surry @ 6pm for a doubleheader. Then Saturday will be an off day. Sunday Post #55 will be at home, 2pm against Western Forsyth.

    Concord Post 51 8

    Concord LF hit a go ahead 3 run homer in the top of the ninth to make it 8 to 7 but South Rowan wins it in the bottom half with a walk-off 2 run single
