I know one thing, the new conference in the Triad area will be one of the top notch conference to compete with what was the Southwestern 4-A...the new conference:
    East Forsyth
    Glenn
    Parkland
    Northwest Guilford
    Southwest Guilford
    Ragsdale
    HP Central
There will be no slouches in the conference with HP Central starting to get it together.

Only change in SW4A is Weddington moved to 3A and different conference, but sure all teams will still play them like they were in the conference. Watch out for East Meck in the SW4A next year.

Rose does return only two starters for 2010 from this year's team. Of course, we only returned one starter from last year's team for 2009 and still finished 24-4. The difference is we had four returning senior pitchers for 2009 with two having a lot of experience. The 2010 Rose team will only have one returning pitcher with some experience. IMHO pitching is always the key and Rose just has a lot of unknowns in that department right now. Some juniors are going to really have to be ready and who knows, there may be a sophmore or two getting a chance which is highly unusual for Rose's varsity.

I am out of Rose eligibility with my youngest now getting ready to attend UNC. I am just stating an opinion but I am about to start classes at Diesel's School of Sandbagging next week, as long as I can qualify for a student loan.

Deez has no problem giving loans, it's the vig..err... interest some people have trouble with.

However, the class lends itself to professionals. All students that have finished his 101 class seem to hit the ground running with some of the best sandbaggers that have ever posted on TBR. Outside of Prepster, nobody has attained the heights and sophistication that Diesel has. It's an art...and he's a master.

Pitching is the key to winning. Maybe Rose has a few surprises in the mix for next season.

Congrats on Big Chase and ECU! Will he carry the Rampants in 2010?
