    Texas beats ASU, 10-6.

Texas & LSU undefeated in their respective brackets.

UNC vs. ASU , again, on Thurs. night in another elimination game. who's pitching for the heels?

    Tough Road For The Heels

    But, not impossible!

Beating Arizona State & winning 2 against Texas will be a chore. Carolina's pitching should give them a chance. I imagine White will be ready to go again Friday if they can get past Arizona State tomorrow night. The Heels will need to continue hitting the ball to hang with Texas.

LSU is looking strong on the other side of the bracket!

Virginia just flat out blew that game. I give Arkansas credit for staying with it but the Cavaliers just plain sucked in the 9th inning plus. Couldn't get a hit with all those guys in scoring position and some of the most boneheaded baserunning you would ever want to see.

    A Game Of Inches!

Virginia didn't execute when they needed to & Arkanasa did. If Danny Hultzen's hard grounder gets thru the infield the game is over. Also, if Hultzen beats out that double play throw from 2nd base, (which he almost did), the game is also over. In Hultzen's at bat, with the bases loaded, the Arkansas pitcher was behind in the count 3-0. One more ball and the game is over also.

IT was a ball but the umpire did not have the guts to call it....Shame on him for getting an automatic 3-0 strike in that particular situation. If you saw he was also to me very unprofessional in telling where each pitch was....(ie.) low outside...up and in etc etc....UGH
