    Congrats to all the ladies of NC! Great job!!! Big kudos to Stacey Houser! An athelte who works hard year round and always gives 100pct!

    I don't think Homerun is from North Davidson, but is trying to flame and start something by this comment. Moderator should not allow that.



    I believe there are way too many players making the All State teams.

    its possible, just let it go, too hot to argue right now......and a lot of us agree, with so many elected to all state, it kinda seems watered down a bit, but i dont know the answer to this or have a solution that would work.

    Solution

    Have first and second team including two at large players-20 total, that way all-state means a great deal. Problem: who decides the 20 players? I am sure an actuary could develop a formula of evaluation which would provide a fairly accurate way of determing the best two kids at every position.

    Congrats to Freedoms Ali Ford, Jasmine Conley and Ashley Hasson making All State, great job girls on making the cut for the last 3 years, a great way to end your senior year. Good Luck to all in the future.

    Too many all state players? Think about it people! 370 or so high schools in N.C. with say an average of 14 players on each team. Thats 5180 players total. With the 294 all state players listed thats about 5.5% of the total or 5.5 players per 100. That seems very reasonable!
