    Nash Central and Conley split doubleheader

    Nash Central 4 Conley 0

    Nash Central wins second game in 10 innings 6-5 on a walk off single by winning pitcher Tyler Mizelle

    Two very good games Nash Central wins both so ignore the headline above...my bad

    Good one tonight at Athens Drive HS. Both teams made some very costly errors and the home team found a way to come out on top just before the game was called due to darkness.


    8 innings
    Cary Bulls - 7
    North Raleigh - 6

    Line drive double by Stephen McKinney (Cary) in the bottom of the 7th with 2 strikes and 2 outs tied it at 6. Blair Betts (Athens) throws a strong top of the 8th out of the bullpen to keep the game tied at 6. Leadoff double by Josh McCauley (Cary) in the bottom of the 8th. Advances to third on a bunt basehit by Ben Snotherly (Athens) and scores on a single by Joe Pistacchio (Green Hope).

    Record I believe it 5-1 in Conference - 1 loss to Aycock.
