We are drawing near to the Playoffs and although we report scores we don't really know conference standings. If you know conference standings and overall records please post so we can all start to see the playoff picture. As for Nash Central we are (10-4) and have 6 games remaining. Really need to be (16-4) to have a legit chance at making the playoffs as a wild card. Thanks for any and all help that can provided. JM15 i'm sure the Bulls know the records of everybody in the state lol!! Help us out brother!!

It should take 2-3 years to get the stink off the field we left up there.
Post 160 pitcher did a good job of throwing strikes. They played a solid game.

We hit the ball much better tonight. Spiers Miller had a couple of hits (again) and pitched his butt off, Chase Johnson got a big hit late to drive in a couple, Rising freshman Tyler Lewis (SWE) got his first start in LF and hit (double), drew a good walk in the 6th, Nick Oliver homered to tie the score at 4, and later scored the go ahead run off (Johnson's hit) a BB. Complete game by many guys, would of been easy to fold after being down 3 or 4 to 0 in about the 3rd inning. Showed good fight.
I know I missed some plays, but these stuck out.

Tommorrow, play Nash Central at home, and Williamston on saturday

    Post 316 10-6, 5-1 conference.

    From Salisbury Post

The Rowan Junior Legion team won again Wednesday, taking a 6-3 victory against Mocksville.
Will Johnson tossed five innings and struck out seven. Bradley Robbins shut down Mocksville in the seventh for the save.
Luke Thomas' seventh-inning homer with Will Sapp on base provided insurance for Rowan.
Sapp had three hits. Thomas and Chris Jacobs had two hits and two RBIs each.

Rowan beat Lexington 11-5 on Tuesday. Thomas had three RBIs. Jamey Blalock had two hits. Alex Bost pitched five innings for the win and got relief help from Andy Austin.

The Salisbury Cavornets beat Stanly 6-5 in nine innings Wednesday at Robertson Stadium. Matt Laurens knocked in Matt Mauldin with a walk-off single after the Cavornets had stranded the winning run at third base in the seventh and eighth.

Patrick Snider, John Knox, Dakota Brown, Jeremy Forbis and Kyle Wolfe had two hits each.
Dusty Agner threw 62/3 innings before giving way to Patrick Snider and winner Mason Jennings. The Cavornets outscored Lexington 12-6 on Monday. Brown was the winning pitcher, allowing two earned runs. Philip Tonseth had five RBIs. Knox had three hits.

Rocky Mount sweeps North Lenoir 11-3 and 16-4. Thomas Berry and Benton Moss hit 2 HRs each, and Parker Helms hit one. One of Berry's was a grand slam.

Dang!! 29-2? There should be a maximum number of games you can play.

Why should there be a limit?

More games = more at-bats = more innings pitched = more work = more development... but more gas money, more sunflower seed money, more gatorade money, more bug bites
