Well they were the ones talkin all this undefeated mess and state championship saying that this was the best team that they had in a long time. Seems like the expectations of the 29ers have went down considerably if 8-8 is good.

Exactly 3ABaseballFan!! In early May Caldwell was already making reservations for a trip to Greenville. Now their content with a .500 season.

As I saw on one board, "It's going to e tough for anybody to beat them..." "I see post 29 blowing everyone out 4 college players,Cody poarch, cody penny, brain tuttle, jake benfield, the pitching goes deep, they will win state this year and maybe win more than that."

I think everybody will agree that this guy had them severely overrated.

I can see where you say the pitching is deep, although it's not as good as people make it out to be. They can't hit a lick though. How do you expect them to get past Shelby or Cherryville (who Caldwell is 0-4 against this season) scoring only a couple of runs a game? Both Shelby and Cherryville are averaging around 9 runs a night.

They as in CALDWELL. Listen, I'm not trying to start anything here, I'm just stating facts about another websites message board, and some people I have talked to from Caldwell County. They seemed to have at least won the state this year before the season started. That's why we play the game.

    overratedville vs underrated county

    couldn't resist

go caldwell----should be a good series this is what we have been looking forward to. a win over cherryville would be 10 times better than a win over anyone else. caldwell will be very lucky to beat an excellent cherrville team. good luck to both teams, win or lose should be an exciting week!

Well I dont know the last time you've been to Caldwell County. But there are some dumb people here that have no idea what they are talking about.

We will see whos the better cherryville/caldwell starting sunday.

It'll be good pitching Caldwell vs good hitting Cherryville.
