Isn't there some type of 72 hour rule on the pitchers? So... the rainout pushes things out by another 24 hours. That ought to get all the pitchers for Post 29(except the game 1 starter) back where they want them. I will guess that nobody in Hudson, Sawmills, or Granite Falls was complaining when the rain came.

Can't pitch more than 12 innings in 3 consecutive days,,,,,,, yes rain can be a pitching coach's friend.

On Edge? Naw. I'm new around here, so, I'm not sure if I should get in on the Carolina Man vs. Luigiboy fun just yet.

But, being from Charlotte, I watched things like Legion Ball just kinda get lost over the years. I really appreciate how much Legion Ball is supported around here by not just the parents, but the businesses and the citizens. It's almost like having a minor league team in town.

Being out here in West Lincoln, I just naturally fell in with Post 100. But, the field in Shelby is maybe 17-18 miles away, so that gives me options too. Went there for game 1 vs. Hickory. First time seeing the field all fixed up like a minor league park; really nice. The "pipe dream" of getting the world series every year is a great dream. Just in case anyone doesn't know about the effort to get the WS there, I think their website is www.clevelandcountybaseball.com.

Back to the 100 vs. 29 jabs. Maybe I will get in the ring.

Black numbers on a black jersey? C'mon. It doesn't look good on the Atlanta Braves either. There is so much more that could have been done with the black & gold uniform combo.

yeah i will be there. But we can just go double or nothing on the bet! Would not miss it if possible. I will be down the third base line on the top row I am pretty hard to miss!

Dang Sumo...you're turning down a free Hot Dog from Carolina Man? I would have paid to see that after all the dust CM collects on his money.
