    Any word on who Rowan will play??? Asheboro or WS Green... WS was up 1 game in the series.

    Rowan County edged Eastern Randolph 6-5 in Ramseur on Tuesday to sweep a best-of-three series.
    Neither team scored until Rowan got two runs in the fifth. Rowan took a 5-0 lead before ER rallied. Will Johnson struck out a batter with two on in the seventh to end it. Johnson saved a win for Matt Miller.
    Nathan Fulbright and Andy Austin had two hits each for Rowan. Rowan plays Thursday at Newman Park against Asheboro or Winston-Salem Green.

    Rown Juniors vs WS Green

    Rowan Juniors took game one in their series with WS Green 19-2 in five innings.
    Will Johnson picked up the win on the mound going 3 innings striking out 7, Alex Bost and Curtis Ward pitched in relief to close out the game.
    Rowan was lead at the plate by Chandler Jones who had 4 hits, Jamey Blalock had 3 hits 1 Grand slam HR and 6 RBI’s, Avery Rogers and Andy Austin had 2 hits each.
    Game 2 in the series will be played at Newman park tonight

    Only one of those 4 will make it, Asheboro is hosting so they are automatically in. That is a rule that needs to be changed, don't disagree that host should play, but it knocks out a deserving team.
