    The wood bat is definately the equalizer, You'd be surprised how many players don't even know how to swing a wood bat.

    they're are many good reason to go to wood bats, but one of the things --outside of safety-- is you can see who can really hit! It filters out the metal pretenders.

    The Panthers spotted the Bombers 3 runs and then came roaring back with 9 runs in the 4th and 5th inning including a grand slam HR from Ty Linton.

    Ryan McClintock (2010 Providence) Threw 6 2/3 shutout innings with Harrison Hood (2010 South Meck) finishing. Byron Haag (2010 Marvin Ridge), 2 run double, Joe Hager, (2010 Myers Park) 3 run triple, and Ben Boykin (Nations Ford) leading the way offensively.

    The O's are 3-0

    Bags win 5-2 today behind pitching of Jason Cressy and a home run from my buddy Dylan Brown.


    Charlotte Megastars beat Dallas Tigers 3-1 today.

    Five teams have clinched playoff berths as of 3:30 pm on Friday.

    D Day for Dallas today

    Canes Orange follows suit and destroys the Dallas Titans 13-0....OF Park Jordan (2010, Glenn HS, NC) put an exclamation point on the victory with a three-run homerun in the thrid inning. Jordan went 2-3 on the day, with a double, a homerun, 2 stolen bases and 3 RBIs.

    As of 7 pm, three more teams have clinched spots in the playoffs, bringing the total to eight thus far. The next three are:

    The Panthers come back late down 3-5 to take a must win 7-5 victory over Tampa Baseball. The defense kicked it around early and 6 errors helped lead to 5 Tampa runs.

    The Panthers advance to the Championship Round of 32 and will play Saturday evening at 6:00p
