I would bet my check that the Hi-Toms AD tried to schedule it at 5pm, he never wants to turn the lights on.

I was told by a Hi-Toms player tonight that the game tomorrow is indeed at 5:00 PM

It's possible that he just hasn't heard the update, and maybe the game really is at 7:00....

But somebody might want to double check.

Tools is correct. I was told yesterday by a Mooresville legion official that the Hi-Toms wanted to play at 5:00 so they would not have to pay to run the lights. The Commissioner told the Hi-Toms that both teams had to agree to the time change and the Moors would not agree.

    Game is at 7:00....

    Thanks, Test123.

Good luck to both teams tonight

    Rowan to state tournament

    Rowan County 9
    Randolph County 4

    WP: Alex Litaker
    LP: Jake Ozment

Rowan advances to the Legion state tourney in Greenville with series clinching win on Saturday afternoon at McCrary Park. Game was pretty back and forth early on with teams swapping runs. Rowan took charge and a 4-2 lead on a Trey Holmes two-RBI double to put Rowan ahead to stay. Nick Smith pitched out of some huge jams and was one out away from earning the win before being lifted. Parker Gobbel, Alex Litaker, Cody Laws all pitched well in relief for Rowan. Corbin Shive shut the door in bottom of the ninth only allowing a walk. Shive also hit a two-run homer (his tenth) on the day. Steven Davis hit a solo shot for Randolph, which ended their season after winning the whole thing last year. Congrats to Post 45 on a great season. Rowan will await the winner of High Point/ Mooresville to determine the Area III Champ.

    west boy,

Am I correct that game 1 of your next series against HP/Mooresville will be at Catawba on Monday night?

I might make the trip out to that game if High Point advances, I've always heard great things about those Rowan County legion crowds and I've never been out to Newman Park for a big playoff game.

OurPasttime, theres only a few places I would encourage folks to drive (and drive far if necessary) to see a baseball game, but if your a baseball fan, you absolutely need to take in a playoff game at Newman Park. And don't eat before you get there, they have Pinky's Hotdogs, fresh roasted peanuts, slushies, the whole 9 yards,, with a staff that works the stadium that would be the envy of anyone. Oh yea and the halfnhalf is usually around 500 to the winner.

Monday 7pm,,, send me a PM if you come, I may be there and would like to meet you also.

Yes that is correct and you should come out to Newman Monday if you can. You won't forget your experience.
