    Note to 3Abaseballfan, McFarland played entire game at third. Didn't appear to be having any trouble moving around. Perhaps his back was not as bad as first thought.

    Wow, looks like Cherryville is firing on all cylinders right now and Shelby hit a speed bump. It's always hard to get that next win after a long winning streak is snapped. Hopefully they can find a way to get it tomorrow, I know no one wants this series to end in 3. Good to hear about McFarland too.

    I wasn't able to go to Shelby tonight and am joining the game late, but I will put up what I can find out from the radio.

    Losing the radio station signal, so maybe only the score.

    Final Score: Cherryville 13 - Shelby 2 (7 innings) WP - Jake Watts(8-1)...........LP - Adam Izokovic(7-5)

    Cherryville Post 100 wins series 3-0

    If I heard correctly, Shelby Post 82 will play the 1st game saturday morning and Cherryville will play the host team at approx. 7:30 saturday night.

    Just got back to Charlotte a few minutes ago from Shelby. Glad I could be a part of the nice little streak Shelby is putting together here at the end of the season.

    I am glad you have learned over the years to not bet against Cherryville. Bats got hot and pitching performed well. So were off to a blustery East Carolina for the State!

    Will you be in attendance and toting the Cherryville banner...Who do you guys play first and when? Will it be broadcast on the internet? Find out for me please, I would like to tune in and keep up with it as much as I can.

    Cherryville's first game is at 7 pm Saturday night against the host team, Pitt County. It will be broadcast on hrnb.com. You can listen thru the WCSL link on the website.

    Yep I plan on going down on Saturday morning and staying as long as we continue to play. Luigi is correct on the web site. www.hrnb.com then go to the WCSL site. they plan on broadcasting all the games. Come on down and enjoy some ball
