    Fun so far

    Today was day one of the ACPB 16U World Series. Seems to be run very well so far. Only two scores I know are Cubs 6 -5 in 8 innings over Hurricanes South and Lake Monsters 2011 over Richmond Braves - American 2 to 0. Scott Edge, Lawrence Academy 2011, pitched 5 innings with 3 hits, 2 BB, and 8K. Britt Cherry, Middle Creek 2011 1B, led offensively with 2 doubles. We have 2 tough ones tomorrow versus Heat and SC Panthers.

    Got to see 4 great innings out of Jack Sinopoli (Cardinal Gibbons HS) vs the On Deck O's Black....the kid knows how to pitch. He was playing for the Virginia Pistols.
