Atlantic Coast Prep Baseball

Too hot out there.

SC Panthers and Carolina Cubs were about to go at it when I left USA a little while ago in the Winners Bracket. Over at NCSU, the Lake Monsters and Ohio Warhawks were set to play. The two winners will play at USA at 6:30 for the championship.

Consolation bracket was still playing but I don't remember who was left. I know Richmond was still playing.

Tough game for Megas, lost a 2 run lead in the bottom of the 7th to a good hitting Warhawk team. They lead every inning except the one that counts.

Great Championship Games

Cubs beat a very good Ohio Warhawks team 3-2 in the winners bracket championship game.

Richmond Braves National beat the South Canes on a walk off hit 5-4 in the consolation final.

AMAZING that these 4 teams all came from the same pool.....great job guys.

Don Hutchins was the perfect host this weekend at this event.

We (Lake Monsters) enjoyed this event. Great hosts and very well run. We had a nice run but ran out of steam against the Ohio Warhawks in the Championship Bracket semifinal game. Congratulations to those guys and the Cubs for making it to the final game. Great baseball weekend for me personally. Left USA complex Saturday afternoon and went south to see the final 2 innings of South Central's CCSL championship victory at Lee County High School.
