Things did not get any better. CP lost 7 - 17. We ran out of arms. Very proud of the guys for battle through the losers bracket. CP finshed the tournament with 12 players after starting the state with 17. Trips and other things depleted the pitching staff. Chase Mcdonald continued to mash the baseball. Game 1 saw Grey Wordsworth (Rose 2011) strike out 10 in the win.

    Baxter Tenn. Beats Alabama

Hey ENC buddies, Baxter got to our pitching, we had to many 16s trying to pitch against 5 college kids. You guys were a very good team with a lot of class. We will see you next year. I hope we all can remain friends and keep up with your players as well as ours. We have 11 players returning next year. I am sure we will see you all again. Good Luck with school ball and we will start this all over in about 7 months.

    Wow
it looks as if that was a great tourney to watch, I have enjoyed keeping up with the updates. Somebody got to win and somebody has got to lose. Looks like great sportsmanship prevailed. Great job to all.
