Keeping geese off ballfield?

    only one remedy for these...

    place a line of bait (orange wedges) leading them onto a Greyhound bus. Have the bus drop them off some place like Arizona or New Mexico... old Mexico would also work... The lack of large manicured grassy areas will eventually cause them to die out.

    Can someone please start a thread, "Keeping parents away from ballfield?---during practice." Would an audio repellent work?

    I've always questioned keeping parents away from practice. Certainly there needs to be set rules... no "stand coaching", no bringing little Johnny a Gatorade, no chatting up the coaches or players... basically, they can sit and watch. This can eliminate the phone calls, emails or texts questioning why little johnny, who the parent thinks is the next Jeter, isn't the starting SS and who, on his best day, can just throw one hoppers to first base.
    It does take a coach who is confident in what he does and isn't afraid to drop the hammer on those who don't follow his rules... players or parents!
