Recently transferred to Wesleyan Christian from Ragsdale. Had an ERA last year at Ragsdale below 1.0. I know he throws in the 83-85; may be more but that is what I saw consistantly during the school year. May be re-clasifying so may actually be a 2011 grad. Has lots of movement on all pitches (my son caught him all year). Throw 4 pitches for strikes and has no trouble hitting his spot. You never see the same pitch in the same spot in a game. Knows how to pitch. Good ernough to pitch for AP. Had a good summer. Recently threw a 7 inning shutout at East Cobb in WWB.

Thomas is a power pitcher and is effective and hits his spots. Still a newcomer in Rowan County, as his family have only lived there the past 2-1/2 years..Lived in Northeastern NC (Elizabeth City) for 2 years before that and was born and raised in Lewisville, NC until he was 12. Pitched perfect game as Southwest Forsyth AllStar at 12 against East Rowan Little League...now plays with those guys at ER.
Good student-athlete; Recently achieved his Eagle Scout this summer; wants to major in Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine. Nice kid..respectful and coachable. Good work ethic.

I had no idea Duece Wright was not committed. This guy is crazy good. I saw him a lot when we were with the heat. I saw him HR's from both sides of the plate, has a great arm and he even has foot speed. I lost touch with him the last few months but assumed he was already committed. He is very close to Matt Roberts of Graham who committed to unc. This guy can play.

One of the best SS's in the SW4A. Strong arm and good bat to go along with his glove. Played this summer for CBC Diamondrats and excelled. Excellent student, easy to coach, and plays the game the right way. This kid has the total package.
