    Congrats Nick

Congratulaions Nick and the whole family. A lot of pitching talent came from sweet Susan. We can't wait to start following your success. The state of Arizona is not prepared for Hugh, Danny and Kevin.

PS Danny I can extort both you and your amigo Hugh.

Wow! I talked to a scout at one of Wil Myers' games and he said what was unique about Wil was that he was a true 5-tool player (hit for power, average, strong arm, glove and speed). He said that cannot be said of most Major Leaguers. Manny Ramirez can't catch or throw at a Major League Level....Johnny Damon can't throw, etc., but they can still play because they are solid hitters. He wasn't saying Wil Myers was a Willie Mays or Mickey Mantle, but those were examples of 5-tool players he cited......so the Royals must have seen something to get them to sign him for a $2 million signing bonus when third round money is about $400,000.

Hard to believe he didn't make All State as a junior after making it as a sophomore!

    Bryan Mitchell

Yankees wrapped up Bryan mitchell for $800,000.
The Yankees have signed 16th-round pick Bryan Mitchell for $800,000. It’s the third-highest bonus after the 10th round this year, following Orioles signees Michael Ohlman ($995,000, 11th round) and Cameron Coffey ($990,000, 22nd round).
A righthander from Rockingham County High (Hamlet, N.C.), Mitchell throws a lively 90-91 mph fastball and a hard slider. He had committed to North Carolina.

    Michael Olhman

Olhman mentioned above, played for AP and the Dirtbags last summer in the WWBA in Jupiter.

The Orioles have signed 11th-round pick Michael Ohlman for $995,000. With Ohlman and 22nd-rounder Cameron Coffey (who got $990,000), Baltimore has paid the two highest bonuses known after the 10th round this year.
A catcher from Lakewood Ranch High (Bradenton, Fla.), Ohlman stands out for his power, athleticism and arm strength. He had committed to Miami.
