LOGAN RATLEDGE TO NC STATE

    LOGAN RATLEDGE SS 2011 Ardrey Kell High School / 2011 South Charlotte Panther has committed to attend school and play baseball at North Carolina State.
    Logan will join the Wolfpack following his high school career where he will help lead the Knights in their defense of the NC State 4A Championship.

    Congratulations to Logan and his family.

    Seems like lots more NC guys are choosing NC State lately. Hopefully this is a good sign and evidence that the State coaching staff has decided to target in-state kids harder.

    Yea, at one point I was starting to think they didnt know baseball was played in NC high schools.

    I was waiting to post when I could download our picture we took the other night--of Logan stealing my fish...A monster!

    Outside of obvious talent, what makes Logan stand out is his wanting to be the player at the bat or in the field with the game on the line. The kid plays with no fear. Congratulations to Logan and to his Mom, Lisa: A true baseball mom who has had an adventurous year dealing with her sons' injuries. At one time, both her sons were in the hospital overcoming potentially dreadful circumstances. Thankfully, Logan and Jonathan came through with positive results. Being a single mom is tough; being a single mom with two baseball playing sons is challenging to say the least.

    In my opinion, the difference this year has been the hard work by NC State recruiter, Coach Hart. He was everywhere!!!!

    Got to know Logan a little bit this summer and was really impressed by him, both on and off the field. The Wolfpack did themselves a favor by signing him. Congratulations to Logan and his family!
