Good to see the Bulldogs playing well. Also happy to see Kyle Byrd's name keep popping up. Byrd is a OF that all college coaches need to take a peak at if a 2011 OF is a need. Sometimes gets "overshadowed" at Holly Springs by Rodon and Manning, but he will make a name for himself next spring.

Lake Monsters had 9 players to play on Sun. and they played very hard. Same guys played 9 innings on Sat. at Methodist. Very proud of those guys as they never let up on their intensity. We'll bounce back with a full squad. The RBI Bandits hit the ball extremely well against us. Great team. I saw where the Houchins kid was 2-2 in the championship. He was 3-3 against us. Did he make an out this weekend? I heard he was perfect on Sat. as well. Congrats. to Bulldogs

Another hitter that impressed was Blade Perdue of the Purpose Driven Baseball team www.purposedrivenbaseball.com . He hit home runs at both venues, Tarboro Stadium and Wesleyan College. Strong powerful kid.
