Mooresville/AC

Should be a great game this week @ Cougar Stadium. Village, do you remember back in 2004 when AC came to Mooresville and the game was probably one of the best high school games ever played and it went into 3OT before Mooresville pulled it out at the end? Reason I remember it so well was because that was my senior year.

 

Yes it will be a good game the o line at AC is doing a very good job.We are geting a lot yards on the ground.GO COUGAR

Has anybody went on WBTV and voted for this kid as player of the week? I know he was one of the 5 kids on the list last week to be picked as player of the week. This kid is tough. I played with his older brother together at AC. I knew from when i helped umpire rec baseball games and things that this young man was going to be a hard nosed ball player the more he grew. If you plan on bringing Bradshaw to the ground you best be going about it 100% because if you come in at 99%, he'll run you over and keep on truckin!

 

Should be a good game. Alexander Central will not be able to sleep walk through the first quarter like they did against North Iredell. Key for the Cougars is the key for them all season. Controll the ball, controll the clock, and play good defense (especially against the run). It sounds simple but it's the reason they are 3-0.

 

yep. it was also my son's senior year. he started at corner for Mooresville. they had a heck of a time with that receiver yall had. i cant recall his name right now though. he sure was hard to stop.

i really dont know what to expect Friday night. we have'nt done so well this season. the defense is giving up over 37 points per game and the offense is averaging about 11. i hope those boys represent themselves better or it could be a long night for Mooresville. i know Ac is loaded this year.

 

Yea he deserves some votes for player of the week definately..didnt he rush for over 200 yards last week..thats quite impressive...hes a beast definately...but his line picked it up for him in the 2nd half he'd be the first to tell you that...an as for mooresville im sure they still have some talent an harper want let them over look them or we'll be 3-1 ..but i thnk if ac takes care of business theyll be an impressiive 4-0...
especialyl if the D dominates like they can..

 

I just heard that Bradshaw got the player of the week which is a great honor. Anyone who runs for more than 200 yards is a stud. I am just wanting to know something I know that AC wasnt that strong last year due to a young team and that this year they are 3-0. Is that due to the them being that good or are the teams they played not that good? Just wondering

Will Logan Chapman be coming back soon or is his injury season ending? Putting him in that backfield will only give AC another option & give Bradshaw a 'break' on occasions. The Renegar kid is another option, he got in on a few snaps last week.

The receiver your probably thinking about was Maurice Carter.. He was a Jr that year.

As far as Chapman goes, last I heard was Harper said he's not going to have to have surgery. I am not sure whether he will get to come back or not. I do know that majority of what I saw, he has been more of a percy harvin type player where not only lining up in backfield but also as slot and wide out type.

Bradshaw did run for over 200 yards last week. He best be the first to tell that his line picked it up for him haha. I know as a lineman myself, we don't mind being behind the scenes as long as the boy getting the glory knows that we had a hand in it as well.

 

Chapman will be back before the season's over..he's not having surgey..i would guess harper want bring him back before the bye week but im not real sure. i do think after the bye you will def. see chapman but this is just a opinion..and when he gets back he will play anythign from wr, to stail back an prlly even some db, he want do anything but make AC stronger.. hes one of the best athletes on the team an when gets back look out ac will be at full strength..who woulda thought we could be 3-0 without one of our best players.... an i dont thnk the reason were playin better this year is because of the scehdule i thnk its becasue of experience mainly on the line
front 7 on D is sick
