Blues 18U Win

    Kip's 18U Lady Blues won the Cardinals Rock Hill tournament last night defeating the Cardinals in a hard fought IF championship game! The Blues made it all the way to championship game before losing a game. Stacey Houser and Dawn Harris carried the pitching load, Kimberely Newton caught every game, Eileen McHugh had a hot bad and Tayla Berry scored the first run and tying run in a big win on Sunday morning.
    Lauren Hill lead off and played a stellar CF, Kaycee Stegall had some key hits, Kaitlyn Thompson, a new edition, played several positions and did a nice job slapping. Jada Thompson was solid at second and ran the bases well to help score a big run and Taylor Laskey had a huge double Sunday morning and filled in for an injured Kalynn Kisiah who did finally get some playing time in championship games to help her team win. KK sucked it up for her teammates and contributed to the big win.
    Kip and Natalie, great job! You can see this team improving and developing daily.

    Buster's 16U Lady Blues played well and despite missing some key players had a good showing.

    Congrats to the Lady Blues 18 on winning the tournament. Coach Kip Kisiah and Coach Natalie Layden have done a tremendous job with this talented group of young ladies. The Lady Blues and Cardinals played well all weekend and both teams deserved to go to the end!

    Congats on a great tournament. It was a lot of fun watching softball played with such talented players and with so much enthusiasm for the game.

    Congrats to the Lady Blues and Coaches! Your hard work, dedication and drive are surely paying off! Each and every one of you played strong and focused, what a pleasure to watch! KK, over 13 hrs at the ballfied, but you dug in deep, hung in there, kudos to you for getting in those ship games!! KC, your battle at the plate proved fruitful, as you sailed that ball over the fence. . Great Job! Great Team! Wishing you all continued success with the rest of your season!

    Shout out to the Cardinals. Thanks for a great show of your talent.. playing tough opponents is what makes you a better team and ballplayer..! Good luck with your fall season.
