Just want to say congratulations to Toni Ann Williford on her 3 run walk off home run against ECU over the weekend.

ECU was in the lead 7 to 5 headed into the bottom of the 7th inning, but TA stepped up and sent one out. Great job girl...look forward to hearing more of this through the next year.

    MD.

I wish I had been there to see it. Toni Ann's a great kid!

I'm hoping our NC girls get more playing time this coming season. Landon, Morgan, and Toni Ann played very well this weekend.

I understand Aly Burr has been cleared to start throwing some. Hopefully, she can be ready by the Spring.

I believe Aly sustained a pretty bad injury to her pitching shoulder early on in her career at NCSU. I did hear she may be starting to throw some now, but I am not sure.

Aly told me her recovery on this surgery was a lot quicker. She also told me she was throwing some. That was back around the time of the games we're talking about.

I sure hope she gets a chance to play some. She's a great person.
