    Guys/Gals,

It really helps all the posters to know what conference/teams that you support. It also helps in cross-referencing when a question comes up. So if you would, please list your school and conference. I hope we can get more responses from the MECA conference this year. With Hopewell being one of the top teams in the state, this team's supporters should be more active.

    Braves: All SW4A teams.

    I-MECK
New conference mix, new challenges. Hope all teams play well this year. They are full of talented young men.

I keep a close eye on Hopewell and North Meck; when they play each other, Hopewell all the way! I still wear my Titan attire. (There's a hoodie I can't part with...jammed my hands down in the pocket during too many intense games!)

Wow...it's going to be hard for me to remember the new Conference name:

I-Meck: and the new schools will make the conference more competitive top to bottom

The I-Meck will be strong this year with the additions of Lake Norman and Mooresville, two programs that are very strong. Hopewell will be strong as always with Coach Creeson and that talent over there. Keep a close watch on my boys the Mallard Creek Mavericks. With 7 starters back from the team that lost to North Davidson in the second round of the playoffs " a heartbreaking two out walkoff single in the last inning" and the addition of transfers Brandon Wilkerson (Butler) and Diego Perez(North Meck) we could make a pretty good run this upcoming season.

Wow, I didn't know that. I agree, MC just moved up the ladder to compete for the top spot. Who are you counting on to pitch?

Mallard Creek from the I-Meck here. I agree with pirate05's assessment. The transfers really enhance the line-up. And the team's top players are juniors for the most part.

They'll go as far as Tyler McCarthy can take them on the mound. They lack that 2nd ace potential SP. There will be a bit of competition for SP spots. Maybe someone who plays a regular position can step up and help. We'll see.

    I-Meck

Mooresville is my home team. I still feel it is Hopewells conferece to lose. I know MC is strong, but look out for reinging 3A champs Lake orma who lost a top starter and reliever but have alot of talent returning. Scottie Williams and Tyler Thurber will be tough to hit, both are lefties. Nick Keith will also toe the rubber.
