That is true and I applaud the 14U team that played up. I think what some are trying to suggest is that the 18U Curve is thumping their chest a little too hard after beating a first year 14U team. Bragging about something like that is a nono :nono:.

    Hey

I found out who gator dad is, and now I know who JefferMc is also, are you a parent also? Nobody is bragging that they beat these teams, they are simply giving cudos to the girls for executing every play successfully, we have done nothing but brag on the Sandlapper Team, and the rest of you have talked negative about the Curve. So what's wrong with this picture??? Again I admire a younger team to play up, but don't put down the teams that are playing their age level. Again you have the perogative to play at any age, but don't fault a team for being where they are suppose to be.. Guru

Modesty is the only sure bait when you angle for praise. Just food for thought. If you think nobody is bragging go back and read 3rdbasecoach's post.

    Tootin' your own horn....

I think the issue is the lack of modesty and/or humility when describing the "domination" of what appears to be a very small tournament field.

To read the post, as Tatertot points out, it is a little bit much.
But, to each his own.....enjoy your INCREDIBLE accomplishment.

I know I've done a bit of cheek-tweaking and pot-stirring in this thread. Mainly, I was trying to shoot darts in the hyperbole while trying to give credit where credit is due.

There is only one post in this thread that I thought had no business here (I'll leave you to guess which one that was), the rest was lively and (mostly) civil discussion. Hey, I like 3BCoach's post.
