What's that sound? Yep, that's the gun, apparently the boys in T-ville didn't hear it go off tonight.

 

That wasn't a gun it was me screaming from South Iredell, "I TOLD YOU SO!!!!"

 

Drewbie, You think any of the "big talkers" show tonight? I'm guessing no...it maybe Monday before we hear from them.......if they even come back.

 

I don't think we hear from them at least until monday. They will have their mouth full of crow until then. I have to say that I pretty much summed this game up the past two weeks with my comments. I'm glad to see that East Burke was the only team to hold HHS to only 21 points. Hibriten should do well in playoffs, wish i could say the same for AC hahaha

 

Hibriten is the real deal, every bit as good as advertised. Very fast & explosive. NO shame in losing to that team.

Alexander played with what they had and got beat by a very talented ball club. Way too many mistakes and the Panthers took advantage of it. Did make them punt a few times, something they haven't had to do to much of this years. Hibriten did look average tonight in the kicking game, fumbled a couple snaps and had 1 go left, maybe this could be a WEAKNESS (?) to a otherwise team that is LOADED.

HHS will have some tough games from now on, there are some solid teams in the West 3A......

 

actually HHS only scored on one of the TO's......and they didnt do anything with the onside kick other than run the clock down at the half.

 

but notsofast, it killed our field position. if ac gets that first down on 4th and 1 from the 22, we more than likely score on that drive. it wouldve been 14 14 at the half and a whole different ballgame. and that onside kick was so far out of bounds the cheerleaders couldve caught it. but hey, it happens. theyre the better team and they proved it tonight. i just think it wouldve been a much different game if we wouldve quit turning the ball over.

 

you realize that HHS scored twice in less than a minute after recovering that fumble?

I'll tell you what doesnt get credit is HHS kickoff coverage, they get down the field and fast and they HIT YOU.....#1 is gonna see Lipford in his dreams for a few weeks.....man what a hit that was.

 

i realize how fast they scored. but once again, our defense wore down. and you talk about hits. did you not see kevin markham #9 for ac lay out #24 on one of the kickoffs.
