    As mentioned in an earlier thread, Brett Austin C/OF Providence has committed to NC State where he will be joining his long time buddy, Logan Ratledge.

    Brett is a premiere player with an outstanding work ethic. Some kids hit and the ball sounds different coming off their bat; Brett's is that way. Outstanding player and a better young man. Congratulations to Brett, and his parents Bill and Sherrilette---a great family!!!!! It seems like I have been watching Brett play since he was 8 years old.

    Congrats

    I know I have seen Brett play since he was 6; hit anything you threw at him even then. Hope this does not mean I am older than you Braves.

    Even after i gave Brett my secret Transformer Decoder Ring, he still didn't come over to the good side. Congrats Brett and Coach Avent, you sure did get a wonderful ball player and young man.

    Congrats to Brett and the Austin family from your Rangers/Bases Loaded family. Very well deserved. Just remember, when the coach gives you the bunt sign, shake him off and go yard.

    Well done Brett!

    The Holt family is thrilled for you and your family. We have had some great times in the past, especially our trip to Animal Kingdom with the boys. Congrats again and good luck in the future.
