Honest opinions are honest opinions. No need for anybody to get mad or upset about your stating an opinion. I think everybody can agree though that basically to legitimately be in the playoffs you have to make it to the 2nd round in this set up. This is what both teams have done. Should be a great matchup. I understand what you are saying too maverick, but I just didn't want all the threads about games to be shut off just cuz one or two will come in and try and start things. I guess it's just best for all of us that have posted here before to recognize when an idiot comes in and tries to start things and just not say anything back. Ignoring them will do the best job and keep the actual intelligent talks going about the games. Alexander Central @ AC Reynolds... WOW.. gotta love it. Only time Cougars came back off the hill with a win was in 04. To everybody that is involved with these 2 AC schools.. Everbody involved with these programs should recognize what I'm about to say..

    BE AN ELEVEN!!!!!

    In Comparison

We do have one team in common this year. We both played Watauga. Reynolds beat them 19-12 at Watauga scoring 13 points in the second quarter and scored 6 points in the last 4th quarter to finish the game with 19. We beat Watauga at home 28-14. Here's a link to Max Preps for a comparison.

I'll be at Reynolds early for a tailgating extrvaganza.

ACR is down from they usually are but I still say they win by a TD or two. Alexander Central could win but it will take everything they have and maybe a few turnovers by ACR. ACR is definitely no Hibriten that's for sure.

i really believe ac can get it done this week. it will be a tough game, but they play with a different swagger when kinnaird is on the field. they're starting to mix in some I formations with markham at fullback, and he will lay anyone out who gets in his way. defense must play well. the coaches for acr are some of the best ive ever seen. they adjust to the other team so well. ac comes down from the mountain with a win. 28 21

I think they can pull it out. Love the new I formation. Wonder if kevin ever gets the ball any? Look for the D to dominate this week. Ill go AC 17-ACR 14..

AC needs to rush for over two hundred between the three ball carriers and i definately think we can.
Hope theirs a great crowd up their.

Sorry, AC doesn't have a chance

As they said on this TV show on the citizen-times.com site, AC is a paper tiger. This guy's column isn't too pleasant either. Calls it the pinata conference. That's pretty funny.

Here's the show; they talk about the game pretty early on.

This is the high school huddle blog - he's picking ACR by two touchdowns; will probably be worse than that though

Wow Baldie sure doesn't want to diss on his area cover teams with his predictions.

Tuscola save your time, gas & money. Go ahead and lose this week to Burns because you WILL get beat next week by Hibriten, play like you did last week against Hickory & you won't have to worry about next week.
    -
Albermarle by 1 over Murphy, yea right. Albermarle win's by 4+ TD's and that's being generous. Thats the funniest think he wrote.
    -
Alexander Central wins in a close one, but still WINS.

I agree that right there is funny. He also picked Erwin and Pisgah to boot!!!
Northwestern Conference probally a little stronger this year than in the past!!!! Hibriten is the best team that we've played in along time..
