AC

First of all I want to say congratulations to AC Reynolds on making it to the State Championship. Second of all I want to say something to the people that laughed at the AC.......state title thread. AC dominated the first 3 quarters before falling apart. It just goes to show you how good of a team Alexander had this year, even though people point to the "easy" conference or schedule or whatever. They didn't lose a game that Kinnaird played the whole game. I just want to give AC the recognition they deserve after having a great year this season. Good luck to Reynolds next week.

 

Yes all you people who laughed at AC, can now see that an ACR team who AC dominated for 3 quarters without their starting qb is playing for state. Would this be AC? dont knwo for sure but it goes to show you that AC had a great year and shouldnt be forgot.

Just wish we were playin at chapel hill next week like we should be!

 

This is quality info if you are attending the Alexander Central Football banquet. I am sure there are a lot of teams commenting on the success or lack of for 2009. Time to let it go and focus on the the teams going for the state championship. Good luck next year.

 

Pretty sure its a thread. NO 1 one forced you to click on it. If it says AC what do you think its about? Pretty sure we can talk about whatever we want.

AC football is over for 2009....They had a tremondous year....However there is no reason to get on here and say that AC would be in the state championship game IF they had beat ACR. I was at the game and AC didn't play a complete game...That simple

 

I clicked on this thread because it had AC and I was thinking AC Reynolds. My bad because they are still playing the game not memories.

 

here we go again.... I would like to say 2 things..

1) Talking about this and what happened a few weeks ago does nothing. It doesn't mean that AC would have made it to the state championship if they had held on to beat AC Reynolds. That's like saying since State beat UNC in football and UNC beat Duke that State should beat Duke.. that didn't happen. Things like that happen all the time especially in football. I'd just say to all the fans to try and do exactly what I'm doing, I went and supported Hibriten and Newton in hopes they bring a title to the area. We can't go back and change anything and trying to say this or that would've happened is just stressing yourselves out. It didn't happen. We didn't finish out the game like we should've. Support Newton this week and hope they beat Reidsville and bring another title back to the Unifour area.

2) If AC won, they wouldn't have played in Chapel Hill just for the record. They would be playing in Raleigh.

Like I have said before, I love Alexander Central and that's where my heart and sweat has been ever since I stepped foot in there a few years ago, but I can't stress myself out and try and make myself feel any better about not finishing out a game that AC should have won. I will agree there that AC should've won that game, but once again the should'ves don't always end up winning. Let's try and support the teams in the area that are getting the chance to go to Chapel Hill, Raleigh, & Winston Salem.

 

players played a complete game, couldn't have did anything better. AC would've made it to state, don't care what anyone says. They wouldnt have lost at home to tabor, and since reynolds beat dudley, pretty sure ac would've too. I was just trying to give them recognition. People downed them all year. Well Rob no offense and i know your a huge AC fan and all but my brother was on this team and he's a senior so if i wanna talk about "what ifs" for the next 5 months then no offense but i will. Im sure you remember your last game at AC as i do. Now imagaine living the rest of your life having to think about a game like that..

An ill say it again, AC woulda and shoulda blew out ACR. Kyle Kinnard was injured. It was on pace to not even be close and like Mundy said i dont know what game you were watching but our BOYS did not quit they PLAYED THE WHOLE GAME HARD. Your telling me Kyle Bradshaw or thomas fortner or blake baker didnt play the whole game? Cmon now them boys won us so many games just outta pure determination.

Ill tell you what HEART! won these boys more games this year than anything. That and great leadership and a refuse to lose attitude!l

Their aint no next year for my brother so imma make sure they get all the credit they deserve and if yal dont like that then block me or stop reading my posts!. Mundy will support me cause he knows exactly what im talking about.
