Well i did go support the softball team in Raleigh last year. I dont hide from wanting my friends to win an win big. Its something i never got to do so i hope the best for them and until they graduate yes i go to baseball softball football an basketball and I go watch my brother play football an basketball. Pretty sure i have moved on and so has every one else. Just because you still talk about it doesnt mean you havent moved on. If you recall i didnt start this thread. People talk about past seasons all the time my man not sure why its so bad that were talking about football. No one's crying were just saying it was a good year an we could have POSSIBLY been in the state championship.
Whats wrong with that? I have moved on i would hope everyone has but their is nothign wrong with talking about the past season.

Glad you know me so closely that you know if I have moved on or not. Thats pretty cool. You know me better than I kknow myself. No just because you think you SHOULD have won dont mean you havent moved on.
I think Arizona SHOULD have won the superbowl last year. I think IF Kevin Garnett wouldnt have gotten hurt the Celtics woulda repeated. I think that if John Wall woulda went to Duke we WOULD be undeafted..

Sports is about could of's and should of's and what if's. In the end their is only one happy team and if thats not your team than FANS talk about what could have been. Its called sports its the reason people play things such as fantasy football.

Just because you talk about the past doesnt mean you havent moved on.
But i guess since you know me better than i know myself your riight. So am i wrong about anything else? I guess now im not an AC fan am i? haha just whatever i aint replying back to you.

And let me clear this up for Everyone. All i ever said was if AC beats ACR they woulda had a decent shot at being in the state championship. And if any of you konw football you know its the truth.

HAHA calm down...Im not questioning if your a fan of sports or not haha and I am sure you are. Just tired of hearing that if AC would have won then they would be in the title game which could be true but probably not. What if ragsdale wins and AC plays them? What if the team Tabor wins then AC or ACR don't go to state

first of all talking about a game doesnt mean you have moved on. its called conversation. this is a forum and we can talk about whatever we want. if you really hate us talking about it, then you would probably just ignore this thread altogether. if ac beats reynolds WITH their SECOND string qb, yes they would have beat mt. tabor at HOME. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. they would have more than likely beat dudley, kinnaird wouldve been 100% by then. ac was a power team. those low scoring games would've favored ac. anyone that has been around ac knows that ACR has always been ac's kryptonite. the team in 06 (most talented football team i've ever seen) lost to acr twice that year (including the 2nd round playoff game). that game was much like the one this year. they were up 10-0 and didnt score again until a couple mins left in the game. ac has never been able to win on that turf, for whatever reason. when you blow a game, it's gonna take some time to forget about it. dont come on here saying "its time to move on, blah blah blah". everyone talked junk about them all year, so i wanted people to realize HOW CLOSE that team was. they were as good as any team in 4A, as far as the west bracket goes. if all you're going to do is say move on, then please do not post again. because we can talk about it all we want.

Hey 52 & Mundy, this is basically what I was saying in my 1st post on here although I probably didn't explain my thinking in the best way. I moved on and tried to get on the best that I could and that was going and supporting Hibriten the following week and then going to Newton last week and supporting other area teams. It still stings yeah, but there's not anything that we can do about it. Oh and 52, I don't think K would take too kindly to John Wall coming to Duke once K got to know him better and that's probably why he decided to go to UK. Krzyzewski doesn't take too great to the players that want to be one and done. I hear Kyrie Irving, PG coming to Duke next year, is next year's John Wall. Who knows. Either way I just know as far as this thread goes, I have tried dealing with the loss and moving the support to basketball, but football still kinda stings at the moment.

Thanks Mundy your right we just want the boys to get credit. Because all people did was underestimate them all year. Next year may not be the same. Think of what your losing. Do you think Kyle Bradshaws Blake Bakers leadership and heart can just be replaced?? Cant always be get em next year....WE just want our friends to get the respect they deserve and if we wanna talk bout it i guess you can ignore it and You act like the "what ifs" bother me..haha they dont..talk about them if you want. i know im going 2 and yes Rob i agree with you the loss stings still and i think your right about the 1 an done players to. Im not sure as a duke fan i would be sasitified knowing the guys going bail on u next year. But we'll move on to basketball and hoprefuly have a good year. Hope we can all still keep chatting.. One reason i thnk we all still talk about football on here is because we enjoy it and the conversations am i wrong there? I mean i know i enjoying gettin on here an talkin football with yall, so im going to continue to do so

With shutouts permission that is... :4:

Yep.. I mean from what I saw when I went to the Hibriten/Tuscola game, there was some very major similarities as far as Hibriten up 14 at the half, Tuscola comes out, fumbles 2nd half kickoff, but they were able to recover it. Hibriten probably feels alot like the way the AC people are talking because Hibriten had the talent and personnel to challenge for the state title, but they ran into a QB that was awful in 1st qtr and locked in from 2nd qtr on and Hibriten couldn't stop the passing game from Tuscola. I am pretty sure they are feeling alot of the same feelings as what you are expressing.

If they don't love getting on here and discussing one of the greatest games ever played then something is wrong. Alot of other sports you can hide someone that is a little less than par, but in football you best keep the "less than par" on the sidelines or they will get ran over and dominated. 11 people= 1 person each doing their job to achieve 1 goal.
