    Pennsbury

My daughter never played in Pennsbury but I took her to the NFCA camp prior to that tournament. If you're interested in the Ivy League or 'near Ivy's' like Lehigh and Lafayette, as well as a number of very solid D2 schools in PA they'll all be there.

Just a note, some of those schools, despite being D1, have no athletic money. I believe that Lehigh falls into that category.

    Correct, in fact . . .

the Ivy League school's offer no athletic scholarships. However, if they want you they do the ability to offer some fairly substantial academic and need-based $$. You're still going to have 'invest' significant dollars but we're talking truly elite institutions.

But.......I was under the impression that when a DD gets a scholarship the parent doesn't have to pay "significant" money. Parents go and spend all this money on years of travel ball expense, lessons, equipment, and then have to still pay significant money for their DD to play in college?

Now I know why my wife complains every time I buy a guitar.

    All depends

If you can luck into a dominate D1 pitcher who chooses a state-supported institution your cost can be virtually "0".

Even with no money, many other things being equal, athletics will move you to the front of the acceptance line. (sorry for going off topic)
