    Ain't it great when your kids get old enough that this time of year doesn't include "some assembly required"! Of course the trade-off is you now have $300 dollar bats, $200 dollar gloves and gizmos with service plans that you get to pay for for ever!

    As I sit here, writing this at 8:40am on Christmas morning. I am amazed that I'm the only one awake in the house. This is the first time there weren't kids banging on the bedroom door at 6:00am, or earlier, making us get up. The funny thing was that it was always my son (the oldest) who was the ring leader of these "dawn raids"... and he'll be 21 in May!
