    Security???

Just a heads up for the TD's. Last time we were down there with a tourney at Ren., ole Windmilr got broke into and a lot of stuff stole. We have had a vehicle broke into at our hotel just up the road from Ren. and GPS stolen at a SP tourn. Would advise TD to have some security patrolling the parking lots at Nevins and Ren.
We are also seeing a little bit of mischief at Springwood in Burlington. Would advise everyone to keep all their personal stuff out of site. Guess the economy has brought out the best in some folks.

Well put Rick. I would not want to go back to Charlotte based on what happened there. The way we are used to leaving our stuff laying around, the thought of somebody taking it kind of ruins everything. I know they broke into windmiller's truck when it was in sight of a restaurant and motel. I really enjoyed Burlington, and hate to hear things are happening there. All the towns should provide security for these events.

It's good to see more options especially at better prices.

    Police Blotter

Sorry to get off topic, but since you all brought this up.....Crime in general has picked up everywhere. I know two Mom's who had their purse's stolen and heard of others this past year in Burlington, CD's truck got it again in Raleigh, one of my neighbors made the evening news with his surveillance camera in his driveway catching people in the act of neighborhood car break ins at 3am, someone drove a truck through the front doors of a Cirle K down the street from my house and robbed it...TWICE, hold ups at gun point at RDU Airport.....just look at the local news. Talk about being bold, there have got to be a dozen or so cops who live near me (two on my street) within a two mile radius, thiefs don't care. One guy chasing a car break in in a Wake Forest neighborhood was shot at. It's nuts out here.

When my DD went to the UNC Advanced Camp they told us to put your name on everything with a Sharpie. Probably a good idea to do that and have Mom and Dad start locking everything in the trunk, especially if you're staying in a hotel somewhere. Trailers are getting hi-jacked. No doubt we'll start seeing someones softball equipment in the pawn shops.

Heres exactly how I feel about this problem :

To show you how radical I am, I want carjackers dead. I want rapists dead. I want burglars dead. I want child molesters dead. I want the bad guys dead. No court case. No parole. No early release. I want 'em dead. Get a gun and when they attack you, shoot 'em.-Ted Nugent

    Western USFA

Organizations in the western part of the state (NSA,ISF etc..) had better be on their toes. If the West USFA runs like the East USFA, they will take over in a matter of time.

The East tourneys are well organized. When you can put over 125 teams in a weekend tourney,(Halloween tournament held in Kinston, NC) you have to be doing something right.
