I don't know about the rest of you,but I'm ready to get back on the diamond with the heat and the dust....the 500 calorie hotdogs, powerade,MM's my favorite , but I'll take a snickers bar if need be. All my buddies telling how their winter went, along with the compulsiveness to get back to the real world of softball. The threads about who is going to win the States, and what teams to watch this summer. Listen to Cheeze:banghead: threaten to ban somebody, because of being out of line or saying the wrong thing, and how fast so and so's daughter can throw. The good ole .700 batting averages:nailbite2: playing the toughest high school teams in N.C., who is who in softball this year, and further more what coach is the best in 2010....:47:....now that I got all that out of my system... Good Luck To All Participants in 2010.....:hurray:

i'm with ya guru, seems the off season and cold weather bring out the worst in some people. it happens. usually its the "hey i got a new computer for christmas" thing that brings in the newbees who want to flex their verbal muscles, but we didnt see much of that this year. i've been asked to come out of "retirement" and coach a 12u team with some buddies. could i be competing against the great guru?????? time will tell, but i've had 10 years of standing on that hot, dusty field..........do i really want to go at it again????? stay tuned for the further adventures of "olefatabusedgrayhaired" guy as i size up what kind of trouble i will have with this group of parents (god knows 12u girls arent any trouble........yet):yikes:

It's funny - you get through the holidays, and the biting cold... Finally, you get a sunny day (today) where you're not shivering and you think to yourself - Yup, it's softball season...
