Any individuals or teams looking for a really good camp or team clinic, I highly recommend going. The NC Sundevils 14u and 16u recently went to Upstate, the players and coaches had many good things to say about the camp and commented on how much they learned. They also enjoyed Coach Hawkins and Coach Pack, and had alot of fun down there.
    Goodjob Guys,

Two weeks ago, on a cold Sunday afternoon, we made a trip to Spartanburg to kick-off our 2010 season. Unfortunately, Sparky was not able to make the trip. The camp exceeded my expectations. Coach Pack made all the arrangements and Coach Hawkins went step by step, working with us on the all areas of the game we outlined. They seemed to work as one.

I highly recommend that everyone make at least one the trip to Upstate. We are already putting it on our calendar for next year.

Thanks for everything Coach Hawkins & Coach Pack. We will see you on the 23rd.

the camp on the 23rd is a money maker. dont expect too much. they will have 150+ girls there. while they have a great coaching staff it is simply too much for them to handle even with the help of the girls. their summer camp is much more refined and i suggest anyone of high school age to attend it.

if you are looking at this camp as a way of being noticed then the 23rd is the wrong camp for you. we will be there because we were invited to come and that is one of the top schools on my DD's list

when you look at a flyer and it says "ages 8-18" that should scream "money maker" right to you.

Wow, there will be a lot kids there, but one of their players on roster now was first noticed at this particular camp 2 years ago. And it was indoors due to weather. Coaches notice skills and talent regardless of what all else is going on around them. That being said, I would say a multi day camp would always provide more opportunity.

    Both DD's

Both my DD's have been to this camp for 3 years and they both enjoyed the camp and learned things in the process. That makes it a good camp IMHO. Coach Hawkins and Coach Pack provide players the opportunity to get better. They are always around watching. I agree with ladiesbballfan you can be seen at this camp.

we were there 2 years ago too....it was snowing outside so we went into the gyms.

I spoke with a Coach about their camps......they have one player on their roster that was offered a scholarship that attended their camp. she is from kings mountain. Coach Pack and Coach Hawkins will NOT offer a girl anything until they see her in tournament action. If you want to go to upstate then you better play where they are watching.:moon:
