Need a hitting instructor-Salisbury Area

College ball has started and I've lost our hittign instructor. Any suggestions on a solid instructor for power and slap/bunt?

 

unless you have 2 daughters then you are wasting your time looking for a power teacher and a slapping teacher. if you DD is a left handed batter then you might be able to pull it off but the two swings are so different that it is hard to master both.

girls have much more success being either or in my opinion. i taught my DD to hit LH just to help her see the ball better from the right side. i think that training both eyes to be dominate eyes can only increase their chances of seeing the pitch.

Not sure I understand. I can do both equally well but can't teach it to save my life. I understand that they're too different approcahes but don't understand why both can't be taught and learned equally.

You need to get Mike Candrea's DVD's , one of his coaches teaches it right well !! She teaches bat speed and contact point for soft bunt and power slap over the pitcher, very informative DVD..hope this helps

you can be a power slapper...which to me means being able to slp the ball over the RFs head for a triple. I read your poast as that you were looking for a power (meaning home run hitter) and a regular slap bunter.
