We're possibly moving to another state and wanted to know the best way to find teams on the net.

I started searching Eteamz.com when we got started. You can search by state and most teams will be listed by towns. Also look for a good training facility locally. The intructors there will know what teams are around, message boards, local ASA, NSA, etc. They are everywhere. I was looking at the Southern California ASA website the other day. Lots of good info.

    Good luck. Hope this helps.

I know what u mean. when we were deciding on coming to sc from oregon, I couldnt find anything hardly at all. I came upon accidentally, a coach from the highpoint area and she led me to tbr, which was the ticket for us. I think it will depend on the state.

what state are u moving to or are you sure which one? if folks knew, maybe they would know somebody, who knew somebody and so on, and at least get you someplace. believe me, its a small world this softball thing.

in the west, if you go to the vtd, tournament director, you can search for all kinds of tourneys, attached to that are the teams and their home pages. that was always helpful out there. but they dont do that here in the east much.

You may find someone from the area you are interested in by looking at the Eteamz forums. Some teams post tryout information there. You could also search for team websites for the state.

    Not sure yet!

I don't know where we're going yet. Our plant announced yesterday that we'll be closing. I'm open to all options no matter what state they may be in. I'd love to move to upstate SC but I have to find a position first. I probably have around 6 months to figure all of this out. The house is going on the market now regardless of whether we move or not. In today's economy I don't want homeownership holding us back. Hopefully it sells and we'll go from there.

I'm sure we'd be glad to have you over here. There are at least two or three of us reading this board from time to time, so just let us know.
