    my son is a junior this year he played both football and baseball from 7th to 10th grade after making varsity football as a middle linebacker his 10th grade year he a fractured his right knee midway of the season but was able to heal and play baseball his 10th grade year but when tryouts for football started up again he talked to me and said he didn't think he wanted to play football this year because he was afraid of injuring his self and not being able to play baseball anymore and he felt like that is where he could play at the college level I told him to do what he thought was best for him and I would stick by him so he went to the football coach and and informed him that he wanted to give up football and concentrate on baseball this year and the football coach was pretty upset with him and told him it would hurt him as far as getting into colleges for baseball because coaches would frown on that what do you guys think?

    The coach told him BS. Although playing multi-sports is a good thing, giving up football will strike some college coaches as being pretty smart.

    Football coach is full of crap. It"ll be great he played another varsity sport and the college baseball coaches will look at that as a plus. Dont give it another thought

    I think this paragraph lacks punctuation, but other than that...baseball is way cooler than football!!! hehe
