Today my son begins his senior year @ Mooresville High School in his final year of HS baseball. I love watching him play and opened this thread so "US Dads" can brag on our boys. So everyone put the great plays, hits and anything else here for everyone to see. Good luck to all the boys I've coached over the years and to those I've coached against. Brag on them Dads. You know you are proud!

By the way in past 2 scrimmages he has 1HR, 2 doubles, 1 single and 3 rbis so yeah I'm proud of him...

Hunter is great kid. I wish him all the best. So glad to see him hitting the ball like we are used to. I hope you stay involved with Motown baseball.

Enjoy this season and don't miss a second. I have gone through two senior hs seasons the last two years. My son Scott graduated from Greenville Rose in 2008, and my son Paul in 2009. This will be my first spring without baseball (as a parent) in a long, long, long time and I must admit part of me is a little lost. However it is not just watching my sons play that I will miss. The friendships and fellowship with other parents that have occured because of baseball will be missed too. You can try and keep it up but it still is just not the same. Things are just different and it is hard to explain until you go through it. However here is hoping I have a lot of grandkids in the future so I can go through all of this again, just an older version....lol!

today my son came off the tryout field from middle school ball and was grinning(3 days now). He felt like he did well and in his words " the coach saw me and knows my name". Chances are pretty good that he will not make the team as it is very competitive in a baseball strong system, but I'm proud of his attitude and hustle.

Tigers.. we have this in common!

My son Sam started his HS career Friday with a start at catcher as a freshman for the varsity in a win. He went 1 for 2 with an RBI and two walks.

As the HS journey ends on the diamond for my two daughters it begins for my son.
